Focus Groups
A focus group is a simultaneous interview with a small number of people, most commonly to conduct marketing research about opinions towards a product, service, or advertisement. Focus groups consist of people in the target demographic of the marketing campaign and attempt to capture customer response in a natural setting. Focus groups can be held in many different settings ranging from online focus groups to dualing moderator focus groups. Feedback generated from focus group interviews is used to gauge current or future marketing success with a product or service, as well as to make improvements or adjustments to an idea.
